Hannah got a haircut!!

Look who got a super-duper cute haircut.......
I think it makes her look older but she said I say that everytime she gets a haircut.
Can you tell she got her eyebrows waxed too? Look at that perfect arch.

Lots of layers......

and lots of bangs.

She is one happy girl tonight!

Some favorite holiday photos

I always forget that I have to post the last pictures first so I feel like my blog is always backwards. This post will show you what I mean. We always do some sort of 'talent' show when the grandkids are all together. This year it ended with the dads and Grampy being the base of a pyramid. Each kid got a chance to be on top. They thought it was cool. Oh, the simple things that thrill a child. We each took turns doing some fun reading or activity with the kids, one picture is of Amanda doing 'school' work with the kids. Brad is getting ready to go to Turkey Bowl (fashion statement!). I think this must have all be during Thanksgiving because I couldn't find any photos of James.

These pictures are when the cousins saw each other after a 4 month separation. They were so happy to see each other!! What fun they had. They really are such good friends.

Lets Make a DEAL!!

This should really be titled, "The Deal of a LIFETIME!" First, a couple of days ago, my sweet husband wanted to buy me an Ipod for Valentines Day but I was in Hobby Lobby (with him) and I mentioned I wanted a Cricut really bad (why? I don't really know, but they are way cool). I couldn't decide between a Cricut and an Ipod so I told him I wanted to think about it. We went to Best Buy and looked at Ipods but then found out that my cell phone could hold enough music to get me through a 45 minute treadmill 'workout'. So, for $25 I got a memory card for my phone and headphones. Ipod- not needed anymore! So, Cricut, here I come!
Brad and Jessica went to Goodwill last night and Jessica came in all excited and said they had a Cricut at Goodwill!! I went to look at it and it was only $55!! Yep, I said $55! I asked if it didn't work, could I bring it back and they said, "No, but you can try it out here." So they gave me paper and an electrical outlet and IT WORKED!!
Here's one of my first projects. It only came with one cartridge but it was oh so fun to cut it out!

Then, I decided to make these cute little bags which is also on the only cartridge I got! How fun. Jessica is Great!

First of many blogs........

Okay, we joined a gym and I decided to go work out. First day, I was so proud of myself. I walked on the treadmill for about 45 minutes listening to Hannah's Ipod. Brad had finished and was waiting in the car when I walked outside feeling pretty 'proud'.
I decided to do a little victory dance in front of the car for Brad when I stepped off the curb and hit a patch of ice and fell by the front tire.

I twisted my ankle and boy did it hurt!! So much for exercising. These pictures were taken a week after it happened. It started on the outside ankle and then bruised up the bottom of my foot towards my little toe.

You can't really tell, but it is bruised and really swollen. Then the swelling moved to the other side of my foot. What a pain!
